ABOUT
MANUEL BIEDERMANN is a light artist and stage designer, based in Vienna/Austria.
He studied spatial planning at Vienna University of Technology before getting intrigued by scenography. After gaining experience as a stage design assistant, he soon began creating his own sets for theatre productions.
He has realized numerous light concepts for bands like HVOB, clubs like Pratersauna and events like Boiler Room. His conceptual installations have been displayed at DDP in Seoul/Korea, MUTEK in Tokyo/Japan, Redbull Music Academy, Dorotheum in Vienna, Parallel Vienna Art Fair and many more. Since a few years he is the Art Director & Technical Director of Scenic Design at Lighthouse Festival in Croatia and part of the new media art collective “lichterloh”.
